The plush basement bar offers a prohibition-era atmosphere, paired with an extensive cocktail list, while the restaurant showcases contemporary cuisine inspired by the Cambridge food scene, using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Original features remain at the heart of the experience, including a magnificent sweeping staircase, stained-glass windows, parquet flooring, high ceilings, and luxurious furnishings that create a refined yet relaxed atmosphere.

The original 150 year old basement has been converted to an authentic underground cocktail bar, the 1866 Speakeasy. Inspired by the speakeasy bars of Chicago, it is noted for its stage, live music, craft cocktails and an imaginative beverage menu that is the star of the show.
