Alfred Taylor Development is pleased to announce that it has appointed Capstone Hotel Management as the operators of the new-build 123-room riverside hotel, to be named The Alfred Hotel.
The hotel development site is located adjacent to the former Clubs of Marlborough building and features 123 rooms over six floors. The hotel will be operating in conjunction with the Marlborough Wine and Food Experience which launches in September, followed by the opening of restaurant Oak and Ivy.
The project, which received planning approval last month, will transform the banks of the city’s Taylor River and form part of a modern hospitality and entertainment precinct. The Alfred Hotel will be positioned alongside The Marlborough Wine and Food Experience, ASB Theatre, and the Marlborough Events Centre, creating a premier tourism destination in the heart of Blenheim.

Capstone Hotel Management is pleased to announce at the Aotearoa Hotel Industry Conference and Exhibition (AHICE) today, three new hotel management agreements that will expand its growing New Zealand portfolio across Wellington and the South Island. The management takeovers include two of New Zealand's most distinguished eco-lodge properties Wilderness Lodge Arthur's Pass and Wilderness Lodge Lake Moeraki, and the capital’s Atura Hotel Wellington.
